ROKAE Helios is a wheeled dual-arm robot in the embodied-intelligence category, independently developed by the Chinese company ROKAE Robotics (珞石机器人). It combines a humanoid torso with two force-controlled arms and an omnidirectional wheeled base, letting it autonomously navigate and perform tasks in complex industrial environments.

The robot uses multimodal perception (vision, force, pose), AI decision-making algorithms and laser SLAM navigation. It features whole-body force control (arms, waist and neck) based on joint force sensors. Each of the two arms has 7 degrees of freedom, and the whole platform has 23 degrees of freedom (neck 2, arms 2×7, waist 2, legs 2, chassis 3). Variants differ in per-arm payload: 5 kg (Helios II-5) or 10 kg (Helios II-10).

Helios targets industrial production, commercial services and research/education. It supports electric grippers, dexterous hands and vacuum grippers, and can be configured with NVIDIA Orin NX, AGX Orin or Thor compute modules. Its software supports ROS2 and a Python SDK. ROKAE reports Helios deployments on assembly lines, including at a Schaeffler factory in China.
