Walker E is a UBTECH humanoid robot designed for embodied AI research, dexterous manipulation and mobile service tasks. The structure uses aerospace-grade aluminum and titanium-alloy joints. It weighs approximately 73 kg and features a total of 42 degrees of freedom, including 7 DOF per arm, 6 DOF dexterous hands with 6-axis force sensors, 3 DOF in the head and 6 DOF per leg.
Walker E supports dynamic walking and running up to roughly 7 km/h, and can negotiate stairs, carpets and slopes. A dual hot-swappable battery system (30 Ah + 3 Ah) provides around 3 hours of continuous operation and about 6 hours of standby, with full-body air-duct cooling. The platform supports ROS2, Python and C++ SDKs, and LLM/VLM-ready interfaces for vision-language-action (VLA) research.
