Claude Mythos finds cryptographic weaknesses in HAWK and AES
Anthropic's Frontier Red Team used Claude Mythos Preview to find mathematical weaknesses in the post-quantum signature HAWK and a reduced-round AES. The model improved the best-known attacks in days, though no deployed system is affected.
