Zuckerberg admits Meta's AI agents aren't progressing as planned
Mark Zuckerberg told Meta staff at an internal all-hands on July 2 that AI agent development has not accelerated the way executives anticipated. The company cut 8,000 employees earlier this year and moved another 7,000 into AI groups, but the promised benefits of that restructuring have not yet materialized.
