Amazon shuts Mechanical Turk to new customers
Amazon will close Mechanical Turk to new customers starting July 30, 2026. The crowdsourcing platform that for two decades supplied AI training pipelines with human-labeled data is being wound down — replaced by the very automation it helped build.
