Beagle

Beagle is an open platform built by Salesforce AI Research that unifies the recursive self-improvement (RSI) ecosystem. Its authors describe it as a "Hugging Face Trainer for agent evolution." It runs in two modes: Evaluation (scoring an agent harness on benchmarks) and Evolution (optimizing the harness, the "evolvee," via an "evolver" agent).

Beagle ships the official implementation of DarwinX as its core evolution algorithm — DarwinX (the method/preprint from July 31, 2026) and Beagle (the hosting platform) are the same Salesforce AI Research effort. The platform was open-sourced on September 2, 2026 (the SalesforceAIResearch/Beagle repository).
