Holiday Lab

Holiday Lab

Holiday Lab is a system developed by Holiday Robotics whose role is to turn various data sources - demonstrations, simulation rollouts (Holiday Sim) and the robot's real-world failures - into reusable, validated skills. It is one of the pillars of the company's full stack, alongside the FRIDAY humanoid, the Holiday Sim environment and the OASys deployment layer.

The resulting skills (e.g. grasping, inserting) feed the Vision-Language-Skill (VLS) architecture, in which vision and language define WHAT to do and the skill library defines HOW. This lets Holiday Lab close the learning loop: data and experience (including failures) are processed into ever-better, repeatable robot behaviors.

Holiday Lab fits the paradigms of robot learning, imitation learning (learning from demonstrations) and embodied AI data. It works together with Holiday Sim (source of rollouts and sim-to-real validation) and OASys (deployment and operational feedback).
