Harmonic Drive CSF-14 is a three-component set (component set) of the CSF-2A strain wave gear series by Harmonic Drive LLC, size 14 (cup type). The set includes: wave generator (WG), flexspline (FS, cup), and circular spline (CS). The cup type is the most classical geometry with a thin-walled cup-shaped flexspline featuring external teeth at the open end.
Available ratios: 50:1, 80:1, 100:1, 120:1, 160:1. Peak torque: 16 Nm (at 100:1), continuous 5.4 Nm. Angular backlash: <=1 arc-min. Max input speed: 8500 rpm (ratio 100). Total set weight approx. 0.12 kg. Operating temperature: -10 to +70 degrees C.
CSF is the most widely used Harmonic Drive series in educational robotics, cobot arms, haptic systems, and research equipment. Low flexspline moment of inertia ensures fast dynamic response. Available in 2A version (standard) with full designer documentation.
