Agile Robots SE is a German deep-tech company headquartered in Munich, founded in 2018 by Zhaopeng Chen and Peter Meusel together with a group of researchers from the German Aerospace Center (DLR). It combines artificial intelligence with robotics to deliver automation solutions for the automotive, consumer electronics, healthcare and service industries. Its portfolio includes the Agile ONE humanoid, the Yu 5 Industrial collaborative arm, the Diana 7 industrial robot, the Agile Hand robotic hand, mobile AMR/AGV robots, the AgileCore platform and the Thor series. The company has grown through acquisitions (including Franka Robotics, idealworks, BÄR Automation, audEERING and thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering) and operates production sites in Germany, China and India, with offices in the United States.
