Auth0

Auth0 is a customer identity and authentication platform (CIAM) targeted at developers. The company was founded in 2013 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, by Eugenio Pace and Matias Woloski, and later moved its headquarters to Bellevue, Washington. The platform offers SDKs and APIs for major languages and frameworks, drop-in login widgets (Universal Login, Lock), support for OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML, as well as features such as adaptive MFA, passwordless authentication, bot detection, organizations and actions. In May 2021 Auth0 was acquired by Okta for approximately USD 6.5 billion in stock and now operates within Okta's portfolio as Customer Identity Cloud, retaining its own brand and developer platform.
