Fetch Robotics, Inc. is an American robotics company headquartered in San Jose, California, founded in 2014. It was formed when an engineering team originating from Willow Garage and Unbounded Robotics (including Melonee Wise) joined the incubated company FYS Systems, which was renamed Fetch Robotics. The company specialized in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and cloud fleet-management software (FetchCore) used for material transport, order picking and inventory in warehouses, logistics centers and manufacturing plants. Its products included the Freight mobile bases (Freight100/500/1500), the Fetch mobile manipulator, and top modules such as RollerTop and CartConnect. Fetch offered a Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model. By 2019 the company had raised approximately $94M from investors including SoftBank, O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, Shasta Ventures, Sway Ventures and Zebra Ventures. In July 2021 Zebra Technologies announced the acquisition of Fetch Robotics for about $290M (completed August 2021); Zebra had previously held about 5%. In late 2025 Zebra began winding the business down, and in April 2026 sold it to Skild AI.
