Khosla Ventures is known for bold, long-horizon technology bets. According to available data the firm managed roughly $15B in assets (2021) and in November 2023 closed $3.1B across three new funds. Its most notable investments include OpenAI (Khosla was its first VC investor in 2018; in October 2024 the firm raised an additional $405M special purpose vehicle for OpenAI), as well as Instacart, DoorDash, Affirm, Square/Block, Stripe, Rocket Lab, Commonwealth Fusion Systems, Impossible Foods, GitLab and Okta.
