Salesforce Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Salesforce, Inc., established in 2009. It invests in enterprise technology startups and, in recent years, heavily in artificial intelligence. Per official figures, it has deployed over $6B across more than 630 startups and helped over 200 companies reach an IPO or acquisition. In June 2023 it launched a Generative AI Fund (initially $250M, then $500M), which reached $1B by September 2024. Its portfolio includes Anthropic, Databricks, Stripe, Snowflake, Airtable, Vercel and Twilio. It is led by John Somorjai. It is headquartered at Salesforce Tower in San Francisco.
