How the deployment works

Hardware: Unitree G1

Instead of designing its own robot, Nucleus uses humanoids from Unitree — specifically the G1 model. It is a relatively cheap humanoid: per the maker it stands 1.32 m, weighs about 35 kg, has 23 degrees of freedom and starts at $13.5K. Off-the-shelf hardware proved insufficient for logistics tasks, so the company added its own protective suits and custom end effectors — including ones for pulling boxes off shelves, where fingertip precision is required.

Business model and data

Nucleus does not sell robots.
