Sunrise is a family of proprietary AI-accelerated SoCs developed by D-Robotics, a Chinese company providing compute infrastructure for robotics and edge AI. Sunrise chips are at the heart of the RDK developer kits — for example, Sunrise 5 powers the RDK X5, delivering about 10 TOPS of compute, while the earlier Rising Sun 3 is in the RDK X3 (about 5 TOPS). The chips feature D-Robotics' in-house AI acceleration engines and target embodied AI, autonomous systems and real-time robot control.
