ROKAE MAC Controller
The ROKAE MAC Controller is a compact motion controller from ROKAE Robotics' Embodied Intelligent Robot line. It drives the AR Series force-controlled arms and the joints of ROKAE humanoid robots, closing the control loops in real time.
Measuring just 213 × 145.5 × 45 mm, the unit scales by configuration: it can control the 7 joints of a single arm, the 14 joints of a pair of arms, or more than 20 joints across a full humanoid robot.
Classification
Robot motion controller · serves as: Control, Real-time control, Actuator Control, Motion Control Communication. · compatible with: Humanoid, Robotic Arm, Manipulator.
Which group ROKAE MAC Controller belongs to and how it is built
Motion Controllers is a subcategory of electronic and embedded components responsible for controlling the motion of robots and their subsystems. It encompasses axis controllers, drive controllers, and circuits for trajectory management and motion synchronization. In robotics, these modules are essential for precise positioning, multi-axis control, and safe operation of actuator systems.
A robot motion controller is a dedicated control unit that computes and coordinates the real-time motion of a robot's multiple axes (joints), closing position, velocity and — in force-controlled systems — torque loops. It talks to the joint drives over real-time fieldbuses and sits between high-level task planning and the drive electronics.
