Schmalz mGrip is a modular soft robotic gripper with silicone actuators, originally developed by Soft Robotics Inc. (USA). In August 2024, the product line was acquired by Schmalz Group (Germany).
Silicone actuators conform to the object's shape, enabling secure grasping of delicate, irregular products. Payload up to 10 kg depending on configuration. Pneumatic supply 3.8–6.2 bar (55–90 PSI).
Operating temperature 5–40°C. Resistant to water and detergents (IP 52+). Applications: food handling, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals.
