Which group Tesollo DG-5F-M belongs to and how it is built
A subcategory encompassing robotic hands with multiple degrees of freedom, designed to perform complex grasping, regrasping, manipulation, and object interaction tasks. Unlike simple grippers, dexterous hands enable more advanced finger coordination and a broader variety of grasp types.
Anthropomorphic five-finger hand mimicking the proportions of a human hand.
Five-fingered robotic hands designed for a wide range of grasps and more anthropomorphic manipulation, commonly used in humanoid robots and manipulation research.
Basic physical properties of Tesollo DG-5F-M — dimensions, weight and materials
The Tesollo DG-5F-M is the base model of the DG-5F family — an anthropomorphic robotic hand sized close to an adult male hand and designed for advanced manipulation. All 20 joints are independently driven, enabling precise coordinated motion and multiple grip modes: pinch, power and precision.
The hand offers full ROS 2 integration, Ethernet (TCP/IP) and Modbus (RTU and TCP) communication, plus optional fingertip modules with force/torque sensors (F/T, 6-axis F/T, 3-axis force, tactile), a suction-type fingertip, a short-wrist version and skin pads. It is used in humanoid robot research, precision assembly, tool operation and dual-arm tasks.
