What EAI Soul can do
According to Faraday Future's official statements (BusinessWire, June 16, 2026 and YT Jia's weekly investor update on May 25, 2026), EAI Soul lets developers define: the robot's personality profile, voice characteristics, conversational style and tone, and a dedicated knowledge base specific to a given deployment. Together these elements form a coherent persona that shapes how the robot communicates with users in a specific application scenario.
Professional personas — first deployments
In internal beta, Faraday Future has revealed three professional personas being built for business applications: technology product sales, real estate sales, and financial services (advisory). Each persona combines a tailored conversational style, an industry-specific knowledge base, and a communication character appropriate to the customer context.
Status and platform context
EAI Soul is one of the two FF EAI Open Developer Platform tools that, as of May 25, 2026, Faraday Future CEO YT Jia described as already completed (alongside Brain Blocks). The remaining four tools (Create Studio, EAI Scribe, EAI Studio, SDK/API) are expected to roll out gradually over the following weeks. All six tools run on a shared EAI Brain — a Vision-Language-Action + World Model architecture under the One brain, multiple forms strategy, supporting the Futurist / Master Mini / Nova humanoids and the FX Navi quadruped.
A robotics software type dedicated to shaping a robot's social-linguistic layer. It covers personality engines (persona engines), voice and style-of-speech management systems, dedicated knowledge-base authoring tools, and dialogue frameworks. Unlike general-purpose LLMs or chat assistants, a robot persona engine is tied to a specific embodiment (humanoid, quadruped, social robot) and its use cases (e.g. reception, retail sales, financial advisory, patient care). It typically sits on top of a foundation model or VLA layer, adding personality profile, safety constraints, branding, and deployment-specific knowledge.
A Runtime is the environment or execution layer used to run code, load libraries, manage dependencies, and operate applications or services — either in real time or during normal system operation. In robotics this includes real-time operating system (RTOS) runtimes, ROS 2 executor runtimes, containerised execution environments (Docker, podman), and embedded C++ runtimes on microcontrollers.
Functional role for robotics software focused on the human-robot interaction (HRI) layer. It includes building the robot's persona (personality), a consistent style of speech, voice selection, social and emotional behaviour, dedicated knowledge bases for specific industries (e.g. reception, sales, advisory, care), and interaction-scenario management.
