NVIDIA Nsight Systems is a system-wide performance analysis tool that visualizes an application's algorithms on a unified timeline and helps identify the largest opportunities to optimize and tune workloads to scale across any quantity or size of CPUs and GPUs.
It covers CPU parallelization and core-utilization analysis, GPU streaming-multiprocessor (SM) optimization, CUDA library tracing (cuBLAS, cuDNN, TensorRT), graphics-API profiling (Vulkan, OpenGL, DirectX, OptiX), and GPU metrics sampling (PCIe, NVLink, DRAM, Tensor Cores). It also supports multi-node profiling and Python application profiling.
In robotics, Nsight Systems is used to optimize AI and CUDA compute pipelines, including Isaac ROS stacks on NVIDIA Jetson, DRIVE and Grace platforms.
A Developer Tool is software designed to support the development workflow, including configuration, debugging, testing, monitoring, validation, and integration of robotic and embedded systems. Examples include IDE plugins, visual debuggers, log analysers, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test harnesses, and code-generation utilities specific to robotics platforms.
Used to optimize Isaac ROS / CUDA pipelines on NVIDIA Jetson, DRIVE and Grace platforms.
A family of open-source operating systems based on the Linux kernel, common on servers, in the cloud and in robotics.
