EVE is 1X Technologies' industrial humanoid platform, featuring a humanoid torso and arms mounted on a wheeled mobile base rather than bipedal legs. The wheeled design trades human-like locomotion for greater stability, longer runtime and lower cost, making EVE practical for repetitive tasks in controlled environments.
EVE has been deployed in security and logistics pilots, performing patrol, inspection and basic manipulation duties. The platform also serves as 1X's primary data-collection vehicle, with teleoperated EVE units generating training data used to develop the autonomous policies powering the NEO humanoid.
While 1X's public roadmap has shifted toward consumer-facing bipedal NEO, EVE remains in use as both a commercial product and an internal R&D platform.
