OP1 “Operator” is a stationary, dual-arm humanoid robot developed by Ultra Robotics for warehouse automation and e-commerce order fulfillment. Rather than walking on legs, OP1 works from a fixed base, covering a working area with a reach of about 3 meters (10 feet).
The robot performs picking, packing, scanning and conveyor handling. Deliberately forgoing mobility enables continuous 24/7 operation powered directly from a wall outlet — with no battery swaps and zero tipping risk. The robot “can be rolled up, plugged in, and operational within hours,” with minimal changes to existing infrastructure.
For complex manipulation tasks OP1 uses Physical Intelligence's π0.6 foundation model. It has been deployed, among others, at Brooklyn 3PL Highline Commerce, where it fulfills up to 30% of daily order volume.
