IGRIS-C is an industrial humanoid robot developed by South Korean company Robros. It stands 154 cm tall and weighs 56 kg, with a compact, human-like form factor designed to operate in tight spaces from labs to factory floors. The robot has 43 degrees of freedom: two 7-DOF arms, two 6-DOF hands, 3 DOF in the waist, 2 DOF in the neck and two 6-DOF legs.
Robros positions IGRIS-C under its 'Physical AI' approach, combining spatial understanding, situational reasoning and action execution. The robot learns from field data as well as through reinforcement and imitation learning. Its software runs on Linux with the Cyclone DDS communication layer and exposes C++ and Python APIs.
Perception is provided by an RGB stereo camera and a depth camera, complemented by a 6-axis IMU and encoders. Power comes from a 17,000 mAh 48 V battery, direct-charged in about 2.5 hours. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi (AP) and BLE. IGRIS-C offers a collaborative mode and safety features: force limiting, collision detection and emergency stop. It ships with a master arm for teleoperation, a remote-control app and a data platform for AI training. Target applications are manufacturing, logistics, construction, shipbuilding and R&D.
